CWC has developed this strap to be used in conjunction with fixed bar watches. The black or brown premium leather is supple and will take a little breaking in but will quickly mould to shape to become a comfortable and good-looking watch strap. Open-ended for use with CWC military fixed bar watches, the leather loop will comfortably fit 20mm lug widths (18mm straps are also available as a separate listing).
The supplied screw rivets are used to secure the watch strap and can quickly be unscrewed to change to another strap when required. We recommend using Loctite or similar adhesive to keep the screws secure.
Length of short half: 9.5cm
Length of long half: 13cm
The quality of my previous Black leather CWC watch was certainly in keeping with their current watch prices. However when I ordered the dark brown leather version I was sorely disappointed. The stitching is uneven and the tread used is painfully thin. Worst of all the brown leather dye used on the strap easily rubs off dirtying the white thread and the leather scuffs very easily. Somehow I don’t think this Brown Leather strap will remain on my CWC Falcon for long as I will return to the Black leather or Gray Canvas Nato to keep my CWC grail watch looking its finest.
CWC offers a very high quality strap, for those who have a permanent spring bar setup. You can now use this strap instead of a NATO. Easy installation, and changes the entire look of the watch. Great addition. I have bought several.
Great quality strap with just 1 flaw. The studs that affix the strap need the post shortening so they do not sit proud of the strap. This small change would make a good strap great!
The strap is great apart from the fixing screws . They are too long and even when fully tightened they stick out from the strap by a couple of mm. Speedy service from Silvermans but the fixings spoil the strap!
Excellent
