The Cabot Sea Falcon combines the Royal Navy Divers case with the RAF Quartz chronograph, creating a Combined Operations watch that represents a progression of many years of producing the two classic individual military watches into a multifunctional water resistant chronograph watch.
For the first time ever, the new Sea Falcon upgrades our chronograph to 20ATM water resistant status, suitable for shallow scuba diving, swimming and water sports. The anti-glare sapphire glass enhances the legibility, durability and scratch-resistance, while the SuperLuminova markings allow for visibility in night time . Fixed bars are standard on all CWC models and the Sea Falcon is no exception.
The Ronda 5030 chronograph movement has proven reliability, having been used in the RAF chronograph for many years (and continuing in our Cabot Falcon Chronograph). With moderate use of the chronograph functions, this movement can provide a 4 year battery life.
This is a wonderful chronograph. It has all the features I wanted in a watch: highly precise movement, water resistance, movable bezel, bold/clear dial, and the right size for my wrist.
Great for timing flights and keeping track of timezones (GMT version). Looks great on the waxy leather strap.
This Sea Falcon watch combines features in a way that is long overdue! Thank you CWC!
Design: 10/10. This is THE most perfect military flying watch design among analog watches I’ve seen. 20+ years flying off carriers and this is what I’d choose to deploy with today. Too bad I’m retired. But still.
Accuracy: 10/10. It’s a quartz: thank you!! For actual combat deployment, that’s what you need. It is rare to see passion and quality put into a quartz design: this is one of those unicorns.
Dimensions: 10/10. I have 6.5” wrists, but this is very, very comfortable, more so than I expected. Perfect.
Ruggedness: 10/10. Superb WR, shock resistance, and magnetic resistance (magnetism can actually be an issue in ships); fixed lugs. Does a naval aviator need WR? Not a ton of it, but I couldn’t go without wearing my watch in the shower and I sure as hell didn’t want my watch ruined if I had to eject. So yeah I wanted WR.
Lume: 9/10. It’s very good and is legible all night. Use of X1 would make it a perfect 10. People underestimate how much an aviator needs lume while preflighting a jet behind the island on an aircraft carrier, where it’s dark as hell. Or waking up in the middle of the night in your rack for that matter, so thanks CWC for putting C3 on this.
Quality: 9/10. It’s absolutely impressive. Only small issue is that the date window is not perfectly aligned with the date wheel. Not egregious, it’s just a tiny bit off, but drives me nuts because my eyes gravitate toward deviations. A non-watch guy wouldn’t care and might not even notice. Everything else is perfect.
Heritage: 10/10. This model is great integration of CWC’s historic pilot and diver watch designs, a worthy part of their legitimate military history.
Conclusion: I flew a lot with digital and ani-digital watches, and I recognize that a Garmin or Suunto is probably the best tool for the cockpit. But I like analog watches and always wanted to wear one that doesn’t compromise functionality or performance. Bam: this is it. Why aren’t more pilot watches able to deliver this combination of dual time and chronograph, with all the specs? I don’t know. But CWC, you did it, congrats on this absolutely brilliant watch!

I really appreciate the good and friendly service from Cabot Watch Company. They also shipped the watch very promptly and it arrived in US quickly. I'm really happy I purchased the watch and am loving it so far.
Am a retired Naval Aviator (USN) and commercial aviator. With many years flying the bush in Alaska. Not to mention an avid sport diver. This watch is one, I wish I had at the beginning of my careers. Solid build, relatively light, accurate, perfect dimensions. Not to mention, pretty darn good looking! Well done!
