Cabot Sea Falcon Watch

Item code: 73896

We offer an option of standard Elapsed-Time bezel or GMT bezel with this watch. Please select from the drop-down menu above.

The Cabot Sea Falcon combines the Royal Navy Divers case with the RAF Quartz chronograph, creating a Combined Operations watch that represents a progression of many years of producing the two classic individual military watches into a multifunctional water resistant chronograph watch.

For the first time ever, the new Sea Falcon upgrades our chronograph to 20ATM water resistant status, suitable for shallow scuba diving, swimming and water sports. The anti-glare sapphire glass enhances the legibility, durability and scratch-resistance, while the SuperLuminova markings allow for visibility in night time . Fixed bars are standard on all CWC models and the Sea Falcon is no exception.

The Ronda 5030 chronograph movement has proven reliability, having been used in the RAF chronograph for many years (and continuing in our Cabot Falcon Chronograph). With moderate use of the chronograph functions, this movement can provide a 4 year battery life.

    Sea Falcon

I’d been sitting on the fence about getting a SBS for a while. I’ve been using Rolex watches for many years and fancied some thing different. The Sea Falcon was it. It seems very well made and I’m enjoying using it. CWC seem well regarded, and this may not be the last.

    Incredible

Pictures do not do this watch justice. In person, this watch has an incredible look and a nice weight to it. It punches above its weight class in function, and has a great weight to it. It has quickly become my favorite daily wear and I am looking forward to wearing it for years to come. I purchased with the GMT bezel, and couldn’t be happier with that choice as well. Coming from a Special Operations community, I understand the need for quality gear and this watch meets that need. This watch does it all… purchase now and think later!

    Almost perfect

An undoubtedly utilitarian yet attractive watch. It is everything I had hoped for and more. Only let down is that the bezel has quite significant 'non-rotating' play, i.e it feels loosely attached to the watch itself.

Bang up watch! With the GMT bezel, it is my most versatile watch by far. Thanks for another great timepiece CWC.

    2 week ownership review

Overall: excellent product (5 Stars) and purchasing experience (maybe only 4 Stars here). The watch wears like a 40mm. It’s thin, and if you wear the NATO strap in a manner that puts only one layer between the watch and the wrist, then it remains thin-ish. The watch (battery powered, quartz movement) has been keeping excellent time. Mine has the 12 hour (second time zone) bezel, but I think it’s still quite useful as a timer (whereas the dive/ timer bezel is not very useful as a second time zone indicator). The chronograph functions well, is fun to watch reset (the chronograph hands spin clockwise around their related dials to the “zero” position), and exists on a watch guaranteed to 200m water resistance (shallow scuba diving the website says). I like the watch for all these reasons, but also because, to me, it looks like a function-first, “old school” watch you might have seen on the wrist of a 1980’s fighter pilot 🙄.
Only 4 Stars for the “purchasing experience”, because CWC’s website did not alert me (a USA purchaser) that my watch (valued at greater than $800) would be subject to delayed delivery as the watch went through the US Customs process with the delivery company, DHL. CWC should indicate this clearly on their website for products which exceed $800.
