I have several CWC straps to go with my CWC ‘87 SBS black diver re-issue which are all great however, this Falklands era green strap is the perfect partner for this watch. It’s got a great military look and feel to it and the buckle fitting looks fantastic - not shiny, and suitably vintage, rugged and understated. I paid a tiny amount extra for the ‘broad arrow’ stamp, which is simply the icing on the cake. The strap itself is very well made and robust without detracting from its tool-like appearance. In short, this is a must-have ‘tool’ strap for my ‘tool’ watch, which hasn’t been off my wrist since I took delivery. Perfection.

Bought my SBS Mk2 halfway of last month. After a lightning quick delivery from the UK, my watch arrived at my doorstep. After two weeks it seemed to have a fault, hands seemed stuck. After some email contact, CWC provided a return label and checked the watch out and decided to replace it with a new one, which arrived today. Could not be happier!

I’m reluctant to leave a review, I don’t want others to know how good this strap is… I want to fit this strap to all my field watches. Currently the strap is on my 1982 Fatboy, looks great, easy to use, gets a perfect fit every time, even has that army surplus store smell (if that’s your thing)

Really positive experience purchasing a GS Sapphire from CWC as they to source a black face for me despite lack of stock. Fast delivery and good customer service. The watch is a super understated timepiece that hits the sweet spot.

I've always worn Phoenix straps in the past but the quality of them started to decline in the last few years and then they became virtually unobtainable when the company closed down, so I decided to try CWC. I'm glad I did as the quality is far superior, slightly thicker and not a fine a weave perhaps but very substantial with no hole fraying. CWC straps are also a little longer at 285mm which means I can get the classic "tuck back" on the strap.
I bought an 18mm green with polished hardware and the green is more of an olive drab with a slight sheen which I really like, the steel buckle and loops are of excellent quality with a nice polished finish.
Despatch was made within 45 mins of ordering and I received the strap 48hrs later.
Just perfect!

It took me some time to figure out how to put it on 😊 But after figuring that out, it has turned out to be one of my most comfortable straps.
Only one small complaint: the arrow stamp is placed directly under the watch and therefore nobody can see it.

Last year I wrote a review, where I only gave this strap 3 stars. I wrote, that this is a really good NATO strap, but the spacing between the pinholes is too big and that I couldn't get a good fit. I wrote that I liked it, but probably wouldn't wear it.
Since then, I have been wearing it almost every single day. It deserves 5 stars and my warmest recommendations.
