In 1980, the first quartz watch issued to British Forces was made by CWC. The old logo was used for a couple of years and was changed to the oval logo in 1982. The early G10s were nicknamed Fatboy as the case was deeper than the current models due to earlier deeper movements.
The last CWC G10 issued was around 2008 and is the same watch today, just as rugged, reliable, accurate and dependable as it has always been. (Super-Luminova is now used instead of Tritium)
Supplied on a Cabot military grey 18mm with gloss silver buckles as standard.
(Please note, the picture of the case back is for reference only; serial number and dates may vary)
Excellent watch, arrived promptly and packed well.
A gift which has been well received.
Excellent service with remarkable delivery time. Watch is as expected and a replacement for my issue watch which finally gave up the ghost after long years of service.
Some things have the "it" factor and this watch is one of them. It has it, and it never loses it.
Cracking watch, had the G10 a long time ago when in the military, still got that timeless look & feel about it as I remember, well made & robust couldn't ask for more, I'd recommend this watch to anybody 👍
I love the G10 watch - it's my only battery watch, with all of my others being automatic. I ordered it with two straps for another watch and there was a bit on confusion over sizing, but the team at CWC were fast and effective to sort it out - brilliant service and always super-friendly.
